Students are asked to take a small English Language Level Test. This will then ascertain each Student's English Language Level.

If your country is an EU member then you will not require a Student Visa/Work Permit for your work placement. However, if you are from a non EU country then you will require a Student Visa/Work Permit for your work placement here in the UK.
English Work Placements shortest work placement is 4 weeks. The longest work placement is 6 months. Please check our brochure online for further details.
All work placements are unpaid, however some companies do contribute towards expenses but this is not to be expected. Work placements are for students wishing to gain an insight into learning practical/business English, which can be a more practical way to improve your English than classroom exercises.
Yes, English Work Placements have work placements throughout the whole year. You can start in any month.
Yes, interviews will be required and English Work Placements will organise them. Depending on whether you are currently in England or in your own country, interviews will take place either face to face or over the telephone.
Work placements are usually 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with anything from 30 minutes to an hour's lunch break.
Intermediate Level or above is required for a work placement.
English Work Placements have a 24 Hour Support Line and are on hand should you require any help and support. We will continue to have contact with you throughout your work placement.
Yes, English Work Placements will provide you with a certificate on completion of your work placement.
